What is SyncML

SilverSky's Wireless Synchronization Service is based on SyncML.

Synchronization Markup Language (SyncML) is a platform independent, open standard communications protocol for synchronizing data items between computers and handheld devices such as PDA/SmartPhone mobile devices.

The core data items synchronized by SilverSky's Wireless Synchronization Service are the Calendar, Tasks, Contacts and Notes from your Farmers eMail account.

The Contacts referred to above are NOT your e-CMS Contacts . They are the contacts you maintain in your Farmers eMail.

The service does not synchronize your Farmers eMail messages because you are already using the IMAP communications protocol for that.
